FAQ
Do you do custom work?
Sorry, not at this time. Our emphasis is on production. The time I put into ONE custom sheath is the same as I would in making 10 production models. Prototyping takes a lot of time that I happily spend for our customers planning on ordering a run of sheaths.
Check our Links Page for Custom Makers who I would recommend to take care of your Custom Sheath.
Made in the USA...What percentage of your sheaths are REALLY Made in the USA?
I buy leather from the best leather tannery in the country and hardware from AMERICAN Manufacturers. I have no control of where they get the raw materials or how much they import.
What I can control is what happens when the parts arrive at my shop. Cutting dies are made by a couple of shops, all of them in the USA. The shop is in the U.P. of Michigan, the crew all live in the area...You can't get more American than that.
How about pricing...Are you the cheapest around?
Nope, and I'm probably not the most expensive either.
My Grandfather was a pretty smart guy, he always told me that people generally know what their work is worth and charge accordingly. If you're looking for a cheap sheath, I'm probably not your guy. I would rather make something we can both be proud of.
I use the best materials I can find, am fanatical about quality work and would rather throw out a bad sheath than ship it and hope nobody notices. Everyone working in the shop is empowered to reject a sheath that doesn't meet their standards, making our Quality Control Department the biggest in the company.
